Shearling Accessories
I fell in love with the Mansur Gavriel Fall ‘18 collection and it probably has something to do with all the textural shearling that I’m obsessed with.
Beige Blonde
I’m getting my hair done next week and I’m kind of into the idea of going darker with lots of textural for that “lived-in” look.
Cashmere Thermal Set
The struggle is real when it comes to loungewear. I’ve found that the classic sweatsuit feels too junior and not at all my style, so this cashmere set from Jenni Kayne feels like a nice upgrade that’ll keep me cozy over the winter months.
Smokey Green Tumblers
I’ve been doing a lot of research because we’re looking to upgrade our kitchenware and I’m very into the smokey glass look for our water glasses. These green-hued ones from the Hay x COS collection are top on my list.
Cozy Cardigans
Christmas break begins next week and I cannot wait to catch up with family and friends in front of the fireplace. I’ll be cozying up in an oversize cardigan, like this one from The Frankie Shop. Worn with a cream turtleneck and straight-leg medium wash jeans, and you have the perfect casual, yet put-together, look. Cue the charcuterie boards and holiday cookies.
More Self Love
With all the holiday parties and after-work meetings, I’ve found I’m a bit run down. I’m battling a number of issues like anxiety, digestive issues, and a wisdom tooth infection (because I can’t find time to get them removed!). I’m officially giving myself permission to cake extra good care of myself for the next few weeks with home-cooked meals, lemon and ginger hot water in the mornings and sneaking in a few 20-minute yoga sessions whenever possible. Also, taking an hour out of the day to read a fun book helps me unwind when things get overwhelming.
Design Inspo
Looking at design blogs and magazines like Domino keeps me feeling super motivated and inspired. I spend 15 minutes in the morning or evenings scrolling through Pinterest and saving images that get me excited. Looking back at my saved images reminds me why I’m pursuing what I love in the first place. These vintage rattan and shearling chairs are the epitome of the design style I’ve been leaning towards these days.
Candle Holders
I used to be a only buy candles for making the room smell good kind of girl, but this season I’m loving all the different sculptural candle holders available Whether they’re on a coffee table or shelf, these guys make a beautiful statement in any room.
